Boston Celtics

August 8, 2007

The Boston Celtics are coming off one of the worst seasons ever in 2006-07. With a record of 24-58 it put them at the bottom of the entire eastern conference and second last in the entire league. This was the Celtics second worst season in franchise history, next to their devastating season in 1996-97 where they had a measly record of 15-67.

But things seem to be looking up for the under-achieving Celtics with their new acquisitions in the off-season. The Celtics acquired all-stars Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett to join all-star Paul Pierce. This new trio could be one of the greatest trios in NBA history. But that's not all. Celtics have now recently contacted former NBA star Reggie Miller with hopes of another addition to the team. Miller, who will be 42 by next season, would be a great veteran to add to the team.

The 2007-08 season looks like it will be more interesting in the eastern conference. Let's just hope the Raptors can stay strong and have another successful season like last year. Boston will definitely be giving them a run for the Atlantic division title.

I want Jordan to come back... to baseball! Just kidding.

Does the NBA have a reunion game with all the old people?

No they don't have any sort of reunion game, or at least not that I know of. However, they do usually have some former NBA stars that participate in events during the all-star weekend.
